Longchamp, London

We're guessing that this latest scheme at Longchamp relates to their Le Pliage Club collection, although there is also a video on their website with Kendal Jenner racing against a horse through the streets of Paris....well there would be wouldnt there.  Anyway, the product is offered in a whole range of colours from.....Red-ish....Blue-ish or Green-ish tones, so perhaps check out their collection and maybe persuade the misery in your life to purchase one for you.

Anthropologie, London

We've always adored this brand as they do such super creative stuff and as far as we know (although we could be wrong of course) they are one of the few brands that have a local creative team.  We always stop by to peruse their products....and actually adore the home wear....however they do seem to be lacking the energy that we have come to know and love at their stores here in the centre of it all.  We often visit their stores in NYC and Miami and of course NYC is absolutely rocking, particularly the one at the Rockafella centre (last time we visited they had closed their SoHo store sadly) however the super creativity which drew us in just appears to have evaporated very gradually and we don't know why?  As with a lot of brands out there on the high street there can be a lot of decision makers who actually make no decisions whatsoever and design by committee of course will only ever lead to the sound of the death knell.  Bong....Bong.  We hope not though.

Jimmy Choo, London

Thankfully London has finally cooled down enough for us all to breath again and travel around town without breaking into a major sweat.  Here at Jimmy Choo, repetition of these Black and White discs fill their relatively small windows at their store along Bond street.

Penhaligon's, London

This was not an easy scheme to capture with their curvy windows although we do love these new graphics that the brand have recently installed with their neon highlited edges and illuminated strap lines.  Great product as always and if you are not familiar with them then do drop in as this stuff is perfect for this time of year.  A fragrant Adventure indeed.

Schaffhausen, London

Its always so sad not see product in windows or at least the ghosts of where they are usually placed during the day time.  Obviously its a security risk to have such premium product lingering within a hammer throw and a moped, which currently seems to be the current method of smash-and-grab but sad nonetheless.  There isnt a lot to comment on here although what a supeb quality scheme at this Swiss watchmaker.  The company dates back to 1868 apparently.

Temperley, London

We're feeling a bit of a 'Del Trotter' coming on with this scheme.  "He who dares wins Rodders".  Of course this scheme is rather more sophisticated.  Very glamourous product and a motorbike-straddling mannequin.....isnt it the 40th Anniversary of the film Grease?...... this scheme does of course look great.... although not much in the way of product handling dynamics going on.  Ah well,   "Viva La France as they say in Rome".

Isabel Marant, London

When did we reach that age when those annoying unsolicited afternoon phone calls from places around England which sound like the kind of town that we're never going to visit now include funeral planners?  Jeez.  Amigone and co.....not their real name obvs.  "Is this a bad time to call?" they asked...."this might sound strange but have you planned your funeral?"  What?  Followed of course by the usual cutting them off in mid sentence.
In the meantime we're exploring the delights of Mayfair and of course this scheme is rather apt for the current London weather.  We did initially think that these cacti were actually inflatable although on closer inspection they are in fact constructed in some kind of fabric.  Perfect props for this time of year.  In the meantime, if you receive a phone call from Basildon and dont know anyone there, dont pick up.

Fenwick, London

We just cant help gushing over this department store as they look so good at their site along Bond street.  We remember the days of the old props being dusted off and used time and time again....ok great from a sustainability perspective.....but they really are rocking the high street and we need to celebrate the work that they do.  In celebration also of the anniversary of the Royal Academy the brand have tapped into the stratospheric current show and of course included narratives from the best of the best in British Art.

Lululemon, London

We cant ever remember including this brand on this site for some reason however even just looking at the contorted movements and positions of these mannequins.....positions we might add that we surely will never find ourselves in....is quite exhausting after a long night on the town.  However, as always this brand looks quite dynamic and we guess completely communicates exactly what they do.

Karl Lagerfeld, London

As London continues to swelter right now......although we dont like to complain.....however as usual we are just not organised to accomodate anything other than a temperate climate. But, at least Toblerones are reverting back to their original size.  You heard it here first.  In the meantime, large letters in retail store windows seems to be a 'thing' at the moment across at least some brands (ref. yesterdays entry from Hunter) and here at KL, there is at least a nod in this direction, in conjunction of course with a fabulous Red and Black and White stripey backdrop.

Hunter, London

Who knew Wellington boots could be so sexy?  The product is clearly hurtling to the top of everyones must-have list although to be honest with the hot weather we're experiencing here in London these would be like wearing a 15 tog duvet on your feet.  Hot rubber in Summer.....lovely.  Still, the brand have made these little puppies super sexy and if they good enough for the likes of Professor Green, Kate Middleton, Katherine Jenkins....the list goes on, then they are good enough for us too.  So, go on, heed the windows instructions and go and play.

Philipp Plein, London

Its not often that we see this kind of 'reference' in store windows here in London and quite sensationalist it is too, dont you think?  Producing this kind of scheme can backfire spectacularly if the vibe 'out there' just isn't right.....and it isn't right now....... and to be honest its not very clever and a slightly desperate attempt for attention.....soooooo not f**cking fresh either.  We will probably file this away as 40 years after the vibe for this kind of scheme here in London happened.  This is brand is just not cool enough to pull it off.  Pop it into Selfridges or Harvey Nicks and we will smile knowingly.

Fendi, London

We're so pleased (genuinely) to hear that Sir Cliff has won his privacy case, although we've also read that the man who threw a bacon roll at an ariline stewardess has been fined and of course lets not forget the man who fell through a fence with a stolen garden gnome.  How dreadfully uneventful life is this week, eh?  Apprently the gnome was later found destroyed outside a nearby block of flats.  Outrageous stuff this.  Still, at least Fendi has a corker of a scheme complete with coloured metallic balloons in a heart formation and an airline luggage trolly....albeit a very luxurious one, obvs.

Dolce and Gabbana, London

We're not quite sure that D&G are on a sustainability streak right now although didnt we see this scheme (or a version of it) at Christmas time?  With their references to all things funfair....well bits at least....this 'D&G family' scheme is the current installation at one of their Bond st sites.....they have two don't cha know.  We probably would have preferred something along the lines of sideshow acts or perhaps something more exotic ourselves,  probably not exactly politically correct although bed of nails blade box and electric chairs as apparently featured in the The Sideshow Museum, in Uranus (no sniggering please, its a place in Missouri, USA) would have been a bit more interesting.

Cos, London

Well finally the World Cup has been notched off and someone is apparently 'Putin America First' but at least the tennis is all done and dusted too and we can carry on as normal while someone finds a tudor shipwreck and Southgate tube station is temporarily renamed, well, you can guess.  Here at Cos meanwhile, we're encouraged to watch this space (according to the vinyl on the fenestration) as the brand explores the process of their latest print.  So, if you like to watch paint dry (quite literally, we're guessing) then pop along to Regent st to have a look.
