Moncler, London

We just love the creativity at this brand and find ourselves willing them to get bigger windows as they put a huge amount of energy into their schemes.  Their Paris and New York stores are a dream.  While we wont of course be wearing the above along our local high street they do as you will probably know have  tonne of gorgeous products from which to select.

Liberty, London

We just love a great Liberty window and the team here always provide us with some amazing installations at the iconic store here in central London and all things fabulous.  With a leaning towards their homeware mixed with some of their amazing fashion products is the scheme right now.  In case you were wondering why some of the mannequin heads are cut, this is because the windows here at this ancient store are very low down.

Max Mara, London

Wow, these reel to reel tapes are a blast from the past, and for those of us of a certain age these are only just about vintage.  This brand always looks so slick with their amazing products and with the edition of their fairly simple back drop - we say that while recognising that to make things this simple takes an awful lot of time and energy - perfectly elegant too.  We are however becoming a little tired of the mannequins now so maybe time for a refresh on that front?

Moschino, London

In true ostentatious style this brand have done it again.  Large gilt frames in a repetition and gravity format fill the space here at their Conduit street store.  There is a slight whiff of the Dolce's about it although thats possibly just the cultural heritage of the brand.  Take a trainer (or sneaker if you are reading this stateside) and add a tonne of embellishment's to appeal to a certain market seems to be everything this brand is about.  Still, they are clearly bringing in the bucks so we guess this look is working for them.

Longchamp, London

We often include this brand as you will know if you read this site regularly.  While they have relatively small windows  they always produce such interesting schemes, and, thankfully on a regular basis too.  At this point in time the brand have installed an interesting structure on the backdrop which appears to be,  well, at least maybe, reference to some kind of exotic flora.  We don't know for sure of course as we can only guess, although thats what it looks like to us.

Burberry, London

This is an interesting direction for this brand as we haven't seen a lot of props here for some time now.  We also cant quite work out if they have an overall 'theme' or thread of thinking over the retail calendar as each of their schemes are quite different from each other.  However, some great prop animals here mostly in a symmetrical format fill the windows at their Bond street store.

Fendi, London

Simple schemes such as this one don't tend to offer a lot for us to comment on however it is incredibly beautiful with the use of these radiating forms in a repetition format.  Even the colours used here are so wonderfully warm.

Dior, London

We have seen some incredible schemes from this brand who are firmly on our VM radar right now as they are keeping the visual coming one after another.  This store along Bond street amongst all things luxury currently has what appear to be references to flora of some kind embossed across the backdrop although they do look perhaps more like imprints, the kind you would see in fossils.  Either way, the scheme looks amazing.

Etro, London

One of the things we love about this brand is their wonderful use of colour in their products and window schemes.  Just look at this little beauty. While we have of course seen the use of hot air balloons in windows over the years although this one is wonderfully produced, we really do appreciate the time, energy and commitment in bringing something visual to the high street.

Massimo Dutti, London

We really do love that this brand put so much energy and care into their windows and just look at this scheme.  This installation appears to link very much into the craft trend which we have been seeing around town recently with the use of these hand made basket-style 'dishes' (there's probably a proper name for them) or in technical terms, repetition of radiating forms.

Fortnum and Mason, London

We do love a bit of old school window display and as we are also big fans of the window schemes here these ones at the fabulous Fortnum's is a gift that just keeps on giving.  Taking the product (props obvs) and giving it a personality is a wonderful technique and as humour is so missing in windows across the high street right now this scheme is a welcomed relief from the seriousness of it all.  Images of the full run of windows is on our insta account - details below.

Herno, London

We don't often see this brand change their format as they usually only use those mountaineering-style clips,  or are they just beautiful carabiners?  Who knows?  Anyway, it was a pleasure to see that they have added these beautifully cut 'H's to their windows in a repetition and gravitational format for a bit of difference.

Anya Hindmarch, London

Wow, just look at this.  What an incredibly brave move for this brand but such a worthy cause which demonstrates the how passionate they are about the use and wastage of plastics.  Giving over their space right now is Anya Hindmarch at their store along Sloane street which has been filled with what looks like thousands of plastic bottles for their 'I am a plastic bag' project in conjunction with studio Xag, Grundon waste management, Paper round and the Crown Estate.  This has to be one of the most powerful sustainability installations we have ever come across.

Nespresso, London

We are always slightly surprised that this brand do anything at all in their windows although we are so pleased that they go to so much effort.  In collaboration with the Danish designer Louis Campbell who is based in Copenhagen, this incredible structure spans the whole of their windows along Regent street.  Magnificent.

Daks, London

We have seen amazing schemes at this brand over the years although they seem to be dropping off our page a bit as we tend to pass by their windows without a second glance.  It may of course that they just don't have the budgets to produce show stopping schemes although we are willing them to do so.  Hopefully, the brand will read this and start supporting the visual team or person who works here, lavishing them with the cash to put the brand back on the visual map.
